Are we alwaysa year behind so the accounts published won't include all this seasons low crowds, re arranged tue night games etc

Speaking as an accountant I am unsure why the financial year should have been adjusted by just 1 day.

Very strange indeed, but looking at the Co House website, by doing so, it appears to have pushed back the filing deadline to 24 May, whereas previously, the filing deadline was this weekend. So it looks as if they've done it to create an extension to the filing window, i.e. to delay the publication of the accounts. The only reason I can think for this is that the accounts show a very poor position that they want to avoid making public for as long as possible. A poor set of accounts may increase pressure on the club because creditors (suppliers and banks etc) may withdraw credit facilities and want faster payment if the club's credit score is downgraded (as would be usual upon the publication of a poor set of accounts!). Oh dear! Another question for the fan's forum?

I genuinely don't know....
Did we used to receive a fee for the Pools companies using our fixtures etc ? Not sure myself.
I will see if any of the old profit and loss accounts reflect this income or is it buried in sundry income.
