While I'm bouncing up and down on the way back like a pillock with not many reasons I can think of.
What do we actually expect in the next sequence of games. I feel we are going through the motions now, players will be leaving wages going down and hoping that 2 teams are worse
Didn't really think it would get down to this but that is how I feel anyway....
Glad I cashed out on the top 7 finish yonks ago
18th looks like our best target

There are not many managers at any level of football that would still be in a job after failing to win any of your last 9 games in charge, let alone look as secure as Jim does. Jimbo needs to make sure he repays the faith the board and the majority of supporters (IMO this is the case) have shown in him throughout his tenure and turn the ship around. I am really worried where our next win is coming from, but always hope its from the next game... in this case Creepy Crawley. We've not been playing badly, but it's the results that count from here on in. Luckily many of the teams below us have not capitalised to date, but I can't see that being the case indefinitely because they'll pick up points against each other.... and more worryingly, given the form we in, most of them still need to play us!

We need the season to end now so we can sort out our dreadful defence (2nd worse in the league, and that's only because York City got panned last night at Oxford), but until then we really need to get behind the team and hope they get through this. Like it or not I can't see the personnel changing until the summer.

Even though I agree, most of the committed fans have backed him but now a few have lost faith after a 8 match losing streak. I hope our current management can turn it around before it is too late. We need to gain more points, then look to next season with hopefully some positive news regarding some sort of investment.

5, don't exaggerate.

If the next 9 games pan out the same as the last 9, then the table will be like this with 3 games to go:

Newport.50
Yeovil...49
Stevenage..41
Morecambe..37
Hartlepool 34
York..........33
Dagenham..27

Our last 3 games are Stevenage, Exeter and York

What worries me is that despite some less than average performances our manager and his assistant seem satisfied with the way we have played (excluding the shambles of a defence) and put it down to bad luck.

Well I'm sorry but that thinking is wearing too thin now. Their is something very wrong in the teams performances that just can't be put down to 'bad luck'.

Unless they have a major change in the way they set up a team for a game then we could quite easily find ourselves in deep trouble. Someone posted that we need to go out and attack teams .....to bloody right we do! How we will win games with only one recognised striker in the starting 11 is beyond me.

And the amount of hamstring injuries we have has to be of concern, but in my opinion it's down in part to the lack lustre pre match work out routines that we employ. Compare those with the more structured and demanding work outs of our visitors and this gives rise to concern.

Worried..... :?: :?: :?: Too bloody right I am...... :( :( :(

We seemed to manage quite well at the start of the season.

See my post on the other thread CC especially about bad luck, you create your own luck by creating more chances.
