Regardless of this, they are going ahead with their new multi million stand - all happening down there at the moment.

That stand is exactly the sort of thing we should have done at Christie Park down the Car Wash side.

It would have kept us on the main bus route , had the bars and banqueting facilities on the main road and allowed us to keep the North Stand. A decent business plan to the bank for the funds and we would have been sorted.

I seem to recall a plan for a stand with commercial facilities was prepared for the Lancaster road side at Christie Park but the cost of refurbishing the existing main stand to make it comply with the latest safety requirements and to resolve the problem of asbestos made the project a non viable proposition at the time. In hindsight...... :?: :?: :?:

Apparently he spent half time on the touch line "having an animated conversation with someone on the phone"

Wonder who that was??

There was quite a discussion on Radio Lancs tonight, regarding the decision. The ref acted within the law, so he will be ok, but morally and common sense wise they all said this shouldn't happen and the ball should be in a neutral area when the whistle blows for time.

They also revealed that Coleman was on the phone to David Allison

Accrington have the advantage of employing a building company with 60 football grounds of experience behind them
