The 50% is probably already earmarked as the new HQ for Omega Travel who have probably outgrown it's White Cross offices.

Has PMG just paid it all off to make it a more attractive prospect? Does he expect to get his money back by been able to charge a higher value for the club if we are debt free or has he just cut his losses and written the debts off.
Any potential buyer will do "due diligence" on the club so it makes sense to clear as many of the secured charges as it can which is what happened a couple of weeks ago.

I understand that but do you think PMG will ask for a higher sale price to retrieve the written of debts or has he just cut his losses?
You would think when they are doing due diligence they will be able to tell we were in debt and then it all got wiped off suddenly.
sure it was said on here, the land what the ground is built on belongs to the Christie trust.BerlinWaller wrote:What does PMG actually own to sell?

Same applies to those wanting a new manager.
Careful what you wish for.

And that, Mark, is a big worry.
I wonder if the PMG to Altrincham snippets of info which have been banded about hold any water?

On the field we've done a lot worse than our first 3 seasons in the football league whilst we remained at Christie. Before the move we could pay 50k to Southport for the likes of Baker and Duffy. Correct me if I'm wrong but we've not been able to afford a transfer fee of any amount since the move nor paid any transfer fee for a player. For all the corporate hospitality how much of that profit is payable to a franchised facility as the match day staff must be a 100+ what it was at Christie. So does it earn that much in comparison? The amount of people I know who have stopped watching Morecambe since the move is alarming... I used to go in my local pub after a match and 30 to 40 or so would also have been to the game. Now there's about 4 of us, if that!
