Better to have feedback, however bad, than silence and a shrinking customer base, these people that are complaining are getting a shit deal and have every right to voice their opinions.

All for free speech, but sometimes the record needs changing. Perhaps when we get our new owner(s) more might be forthcoming re info from the club. IMO if we had 20 more points this forum might actually be more focused on the football! But i fear even if we won 6-0, all got free pies, something still wouldn't be right! It was a tongue-in-cheek remark we just need to lighten up a bit ffs

Why is the question 'why don't (should be doesn't, BTW) the club look after fans' off topic? It's about Morecambe football club and its fans (i.e. us).

I don't know who edited it previously, but I've re-edited it now. There's only so many characters that can go in the title. I hope you are happy with it now? 8-) :D :D :D

It's still 'off topic' and 'do' instead of 'does', so not much changed. And to WW, I'm not moaning, just making a perfectly valid comment.

What sort of crowds do we get for reserve matches? I am a season ticket holder and seen hundreds of home games down the years but only ever seen one reserve match (when Tevez came to town). Without telling people the games are on how on earth are people supposed to know about them?

That low?? Surely worth a bit of promotion then? Do season ticket holders get in free?

I would have thought that the scoreboard could advertise the games. Maybe one thing that the proposed fans group could make recommendations to the Board during their discussions.

That's negativity on a large scale.

If you go to the meeting with that attitude then you might as well stay away and let those who want to contribute get on with it.....

Yes I did put my name forward and was told of the first meeting by a fellow fan. I suppose it was too much to expect being told by the club of the inaugural meeting. Not sure what to expect but it's up to all of us to make it work. If it means that there is a communication gateway between the fans and the Board then excellent. But if it becomes nothing more than a means for supporters to air their grievances then there seems little point. It has to be constructive in my opinion for it to work.

Here's hoping..,, :?: :?: :?:

You were told by Director Mike Hinchcliffe in person Neil, you may have been told by another fan who Mike had also told a few minutes earlier, but don't bang on about negativity in one breath then moan in the next breath, I was actually stood next to the Director, Mr Hinchcliffe, when he invited you to the meeting.

I hadn't a clue that the guy who told me was a Director. To me he was just another fan
