Sounds as though a deal is back in the frame.

Hard-up Morecambe

Doesn't Tony shop at Sainsburys

The most interesting part of the article is a quote from Sammy

"There's a meeting with the FA and we'll see if anything fresh develops."

Top goalie IMO, kept 20 clean sheets in our last season in the conference, to do all that then miss the final at wembley was so unlucky. Talking to Scott Davis at the bar at the Carlton when we came back, he was still gutted for Drenchy, even though he got his chance to shine.
Hope Drenchy gets a bit more luck in the future than he seems to have had in the past.
I've got his shirt from the last season and if I couldn't get another memento from Christie Park, I'd still be happy with that. ;)

waste of money! don't need another right winger in Duffy, i can think of other positions we need to fill, like the left wing

seeing we've not got the money to play with and times being hard..

Getting this embargo lifted just to get it put back up for an untested player.....doesn't sound too good to me.
Get over it ;)

I've decided to finally register for your new board.

I believe Bury are the favourites for Duffy's signature.

I know they say there is no sentiment in football, but couldn't we allow Drench to at least train with us while he's still at Southport? He certainly deserves some good luck.

So how did that work out then?
