Pyro is popular in Europe where health and safety isn't taken as seriously as it is over here. Look at this from Greece:



Pyro isn't used in large numbers in British matches but it is used frequently. We have seen it from away fans at The Globe and previously by ourselves. Even the big clubs like a bit of pyro, Liverpool in particular are frequent users at away matches. We have already had a large thread on here about pyro. Some would argue it improves the atmosphere whilst others are concerned about the risks it poses.

Aside from them giving those in the crowd with asthma breathing problems.

The Chairman on the FL has taken a very dim view on Pyros and has promised to stamp them out.

Going O/T slightly, our new firm must have an average age of 13. Had the misfortune of walking behind them as they made their way between the church and Langridge for a bit of "scrapping".
