Our league campaign is effectively over now, won't go up, won't go down. Therefore League 2 scores aren't of much relevance.

League 1 on the other hand...

Fleetwood 0-1 Walsall :D
Oldham 1-0 Blackpool :D

It's actually more exciting watching the bottom 4 places in L1 than watching L2 :?

Thank goodness for York and Dagenfail, hope there is someone to replace them next season

We should hope York stay up at Cheatenage's expense.

I am routing for this formula on 7th May, even if it means Stanley cement a play-off place:

Morecambe loss + Stanley Win = Stevenage DOWN.

Yorks run in is brutal. Of their 10 remaining games they've got fixtures against teams currently in 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th in the table, all chasing promotion. They've also got to play Hartlepool who are down there scrapping with them.

On paper their easiest games are against 16th placed Crawley on Good Friday and then against us on the last day of the season but I suspect their fate will already be sealed by then.

Don't be silly, shrimpnsave, Lancashire Shrimp isn't Blackpool Shrimp... He goes to all home and away games which allows him to make valid assessments of the team's performances!

If i have sorted personnel issues out i will be at every game next season and lots of seasons after that

I would follow the team if they were down in the North West Counties league - bet not many on here would say that

To be fair to Blackpool Shrimp's long lost brother, you didn't read his post properly! He said he "would follow the team if they were down in the North West Counties league".

Obviously, that's a thinly veiled dig at people like RedRedWine who only follow Morecambe in the Football League. Real fans ignore such glory and will follow us once we're non-League once more!

So how did that work out then?
