This is the lad who scored 2 against us last season at Prenton park what ended our 6 game winning streak at the start of the season. He's a hand full from what I can remember physical player similar to Anton forester. I've heard jim is looking To off load of mullin so this may be the reason he's looking at other strikers

Devitt and Wildig were originally signed on loan then signed permanently after being released by their parent clubs. Both should go on to play at a higher level. Accy are a fine example that success isn't reliant on money.

Get this Accy idea out of your head, the new owners are burning through cash at a rate we can only dream of

Accy started this season like us with no money to spend, just getting players out of contract or off clubs releasing them.

and if Leicester win the prem leagure, it was said last month they'd only used 17 different players in the leagure, so all this self pity, Aww little old Morecambe we've only a small squad, and Awww the players are tired, Goes Right Out The Window.

stop making excuses.

Yes, it can be done but in the majority of 'small club' scenarios it isn't. It takes a really good manager to buy cheap/beg/borrow good players and weld them into a very good team. We have Jim who manages to get some good players but, according to the majority SV posters, often gets his tactics wrong.
I suspect he's on low money and it's his devotion to our club which drives him on. Does anyone seriously believe that there are really good managers out there queuing up to take over on low wages and an even lower budget. Let's have some realism guys. Jim may not be top notch, even for league 2, but we could end up with a lot worse.

Leicester's league season is 38 games, plus 2 FA Cup games and 3 League Cup games. Ours is 46 plus 2 FA Cup games, a league cup game and 4 JPT games. If you're going to make comparisons, at least make them fair :)

Plus all the international games... Over 10 of their 17 are in international squads.

It is a fair comparison in relative terms to each league. I am also sick of little Morecambe punching above our weight. Next year is 10 years in the FL. How many have we finished above Stanley, who are just as poor if not poorer (this season aside with their new investments)?

Whoever you get your info from must be a fly on the wall of the both the managers office and the Boardroom.

I personally take it all with a pinch of salt.

I doubt if Jim is trying to offload Mullin unless he has had a nod and a wink that the take-over/buy-out is going to produce a bigger budget to enable him to shop in Morrisons rather than B & M Bargains.

If Miller goes , Mullin will be the only out and out striker on the books.

i'm sure we give Mullin a 2yr deal after a promising start, shooting on sight of goal, scoring a varierty of goals, left peg right peg inside n outside the box, whats gone wrong..

Five times out of eight, before this season.

After 15 games we were 2 points below them. Have a look who they've signed since then to bolster the squad.

Hughes, Kee, Boco, Mooney, Halliday, Connelly, and more - Hughes, Kee, Boco - all known mercenaries at this level. All during the season. That's half the bloody team! Compare apples with apples.

Leicester have international players playing fewer games and a much much larger squad and have been lucky with injuries. Would they be there if Mahrez was injured all season (Murphy for example).

It's been a 6/10 season for me. Bit of luck with injuries and in games we'd be 10th. Not a lot you can do about that.

Kee has been with them since the Summer to be fair, as has Mooney.
