Amond watch

I think he'll sign for a high flying league 2 club next season or maybe reunite with Paul cook at Portsmouth. Someone is going to take a gamble on him that's for sure !

Don't apologise, you are on topic, it's just that the people that aren't interested will read it

Amond is one of only three players in the top five divisions with a shots on target percentage of 75 or above. The other two are Nicky Ajose of Swindon and Shaun Miller :D

He disliked Morecambe and just wanted a run in the team as striker to try and get a move anyway.

There's no evidence of such a claim.

He was out of contract last Summer and being 24 or over he knew he could move on.

From his "tweets" at the time he was disappointed not to receive another contract and that goes for me too. He was a poacher type striker but Jim played him as a winger/wide man which is not his game.

The only way tbis post can end is by Podge getting Injured, or retiring, god help us if he gets sold to Tottenham for 2 million quid

Gets signed by Plymouth and then only gets on the bench?

Can you imagine how the current squad, particularly the strikers, feel if they look on here and see a 7 page thread about a player who left last summer and ended up in the conference? Don't mistake this for a whinge, I just think it's time for a little perspective.

Podge was going nowhere at Morecambe and moving was the best thing for him. He has put himself in the shop window and at his age (28?) probably has one move left to make some cash...................
looks like it will work out. :D

A 3 year at a league one club would see him right and he has earned it.What happens next closer to home with Dev/Miller and co will I suspect depend on whether we get new owners.
If not I can see better players leaving and as the budget will imo be cut they will be replaced by lesser players.

You want a bet Seasider? I think there are some on here who'd keep this thread going when he's 75 and ready to retire from the accountancy business he set up after retiring from football, doing a degree part-time while working, gaining ten years experience, then setting up his own company.

I might be wrong though. ;)
