All the issues surrounding the move to the Globe and its impacts on a variety of aspects both on and off the pitch have been discussed many times here. One facet is of course the poor home results. So, in the rigorous Germanic tradition, I thought it would be interesting to see the extent following the move in 2010 season by season, based on results recorded within the Soccerbase database. As you can see, a win percent of just 30% really is poor. Being shit at home is a statistical fact. We're on course to beat our worst ever league season at the Globe, and can at best equal it by drawing all our remaining home games.
A question arising is that it is surely not good enough to continually stave off the threat of relegation, relying as it does on maintaining, season after season, a better than average away record.
This summer is perhaps the most crucial in the club's recent history since the decision to go pro in 2002.
