D&R haven't played since 19th March. So they should be refreshed and fit. On the other hand, the lads must be pleased with the way they played yesterday and hopefully we will see more of the same for the rest of the season, free flowing, positive football.

1-3

not that bothered about this result, i would rarher Jim concentrate on winning our remaining home games, moving foresrd into next sason, our home form is still very poor and a serious concern with season tickets sales this coming summer.

I think it's vital to continue the momentum. I see what you mean about home games but another good win on Tuesday night should boost the gate on Saturday. Are you also saying that Accrington away in a couple of weeks doesn't matter?

2 -0 to Shrimps please.

aslong as where safe, i would rather let Accy win, just to see how they weather in L1 and learn from their experience.

4/4/2 (but I would still start with Dev over Moly) and a 0-2 win.
Anthing else (wingbacks and shit) a draw.
So my prediction without knowledge of team etc. is 0-2 win.

A welcome and much needed win over Accy is paramount to almost end a season that has been highly forgettable.

A win would also increase the pressure on their push for at the least a play off place.

"Hoping Jim persists with the positive approach"

Teams that have scored more than Morecambe this year in the Football LEague (discounting Premier LEague, they've played fewer games)

Portsmouth
Accrington
Bristol Rovers
Oxford
Northampton
Wigan
Gillingham
Peterborough
Burnley

Only Peterborough have scored more goals that are not in a Playoff position.

This place never ceases to amaze me. It's the back end thats the problem.

1-4 to the shrimps, the daggers, have to come at us,which should play into our hands and hopefully get some revenge for that 6-0 defeat.

I disagree. It was 'fixing' the back end that screwed up our season. When Jim said we were conceding too many, we were actually the top scorers in all leagues. Then we went for clean sheets and endured the last few months. We've got a team which has potentially, a lot of flair. It isn't a team that has many clean sheets. So do what we do best and play to our strengths rather than worry about our weaknesses. We're a Kevin Keegan's Newcastle United, not a George Graham's Arsenal. We won't win as much, but it will be a hell of a lot more interesting to watch, and will have some success along the way!
