Academy and Development squad football

Just listened to one of the games summarises on Radio Lancashire Sport say that he wasn't in favour of academy football as it didn't prepare young footballers for a career in the rough and tumble of league football. Question is do we as a club look to other club's academys for future players or should we be looking at players with league experience to improve the squad....

For me I'd go for players with even limited league experience.

There was a stupid Scotsman on Radio Lancashire , he is a sports journalist for "The Sun" and he thought it would be a good idea if a Premier League club like Everton could buy Morecambe FC and use it to play their development squad in to give them proper competitive football. No Thanks
