Well just listened to the Radio Lancs summary.

It sounded dire.

A few weeks back we go to York on a run of 9 losses on the trot and manage to lose.

Now we lose to a Dagenham team with just 1 home win (against York !!) all season and again lose.

why on earth change the team. They played well enough on Saturday to keep their shirts.

Is wildig injured ?

When we got hammered by Daggers in the playoff semi final, we stood and applauded the players off. I remember Dave Artell saying how he was shocked by the passion of our fans and how bad he felt for those that travelled. It is amazing how the current regime are killing the relationship between the club and the fans. I doth my cap to those that have travelled tonight and I hope you receive some sort of an apology from Jim Bentley as he proceeded to use it as a trial game. You are the last of a dying breed.

Oh great!

Said on the commentary that stewards had to separate one of our fans and Lee Molyneaux. Would be very disappointing if a player said that to one of our own fans, irrespective of whatever the fan said.

Think Keith only got a line. Forgot "bobbly pitch, long journey, freak of a goal. But the main news in a radio interview was JB apologised and takes responsibility for the team selection!!!! Needs a lie down now. :o Also stated that the only player being released (so far) is Willow.

Wow never known a thread to be this active after a midweek away game down south

Jim f**cked up tonight big time changing the team and formation but yet some of our fans being the idiots they are will still sing his name on Saturday. No wonder the man thinks he's untouchable!

Seriously? They thought we were "shit" on Saturday? We won 4-2 and could easily have had eight! [Fleming doing their defensive work to stop a definite goal, handball/penalty not given, Miller rounding keeper in second half but knocked it a bit too far ahead, Miller just missing making contact in 6 yard box from a superb cross]. If they thought that was shit, then they would never be satisfied anyway. There have been plenty of matches where they could reasonably have said that, but saturday wasn't one. What else were they expecting?

That really proves Keith's comments about BS bingo.

"Long journey down" - went down a day early
"Dagenham fresh after two week break" - explains the tactics
"Tough game Saturday on a heavy pitch"
"Lots of quality in squad [so no problem to change]"
"Bobbly pitch"
"Psychology of who is staying and who is going"
"Kev is 37 and played lots of minutes" - just signed new contract

"No excuses though"

In his interview Jim says he was part of the problem.....Jim you ARE the problem in as much that your tactics are wrong, your negativity is wrong and your constant seeking to blame other circumstances is wrong.

For ffs just go out and boss a game on the front foot......like we used to do earlier this season.

He also said that Willow was the only one to be released at the moment. Erm what about the news that Parrish is on his way.... :?: :?: :?:

"I'll take full responsibility maybe the formation change but it has worked well in other games. You're not always going to get it right. It's usually been quite solid. Away [like] at Crawley recently".

1-1 at Crawley. So going to Dagenham for a draw?

Please Jim... I still believe in you. You bring great players in who want [wanted] to be at the club. But the tactic you are so desperate to make work, quite clearly, doesn't! Stop being so stubborn. Do any of the fans think it is solid? Do the points on the table suggest it is solid? Do results show it is solid?

I still believe you can turn it around, but only if you are prepared to accept that the tactics have to change.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I hope he turns it round too.

Please Jim , look at the DVDs which you must have at home of the early season games against Notts Co , Yeovil , Wimbledon , Accrington etc etc . See how we were set up and played in those games and ask yourself why did things change.

He's such a great guy and fantastic servant to the club and I don't want to see a journeyman manager who needs a sat nav to find Morecambe throwing his CV in and bringing all his entourage with him.

Point being as they saw the game was that Barnet was a piss poor team on the day and allowed the less piss poor team the result.

So they've decided to stop coming because the opposition were crap???

I genuinely went away on Saturday feeling that I'd seen an entertaining game of football and believing that if we settled for that style of football, it would serve us well and bring the fans back. I didn't see any negativity in the game, it was thoroughly enjoyable... for me.

Yes really, they have been to every home game and got sick of the negativity in the games and according to them Barnet was no different even with a win
