Jamie Devitt

Jamie Devitt

Was told at half time that Jamie has agreed a pre contract with Peterborough for next season. Probably the reason he's been left on the bench the past couple of home games. Just when we thought things couldn't get any worse

Good luck Jamie

He was always likely to leave. However he is still our player until the end of the season so hopefully Jim will start him next week.

And I'd expect him to give 100% too.

To be honest I am not that bothered whilst you cannot deny he is creative he is to small and lightweight for this division. IMO he offered very little against big sides and in poor weather conditions. I was impressed with Cole Stockton today though when he came on

and probably why Molly has been starting instead of Devitt, try and get him interested, as he's another year left on his contract, liked the look of him pre season.

I wish Jamie well but this makes our prospects next season even gloomier. In my opinion, Jamie is quite simply our best player and it looks like Miller could be right behind him. Imagine where we'd be this season without the contribution of these two?

Next season looks likely to be a massive challenge unless we get a new owner to provide some security/investment (which I can't see happening). And that's regardless of who our manager is.

I agree he's ok when he has time and space he will put an excellent cross in but when he is under pressure he struggles

If it's true, then I'm gutted. He is our best player, (I think he had the most assists in the FL at one point). I wish him all the best for the future.

Don't blame Devitt one bit. A similar situation to Mark Duffy, you don't realise what you have until its gone. Shame we never cracked being able to get him fit for 90mins.

Peterborough?? Graham Westley been talking to him then I assume??

I wouldn't bank on "Medal Winner" Westley actually being at Peterborough past the end of this season, let alone the start of next.

They got beat at home again today and their fans despise him.

Jamie is too good for us! For one he is a creative player with a bit of flair.the type centre halves (past or present) hate, he has no place in our mindless defensive teams under the current regime! I wish him well in his career and appreciate all he has done for the side.
Don't worry be happy!

Nightmare scenario. "Medal Winner" gets the bullet at Posh and goes back to Stevenage and then signs Devitt !

Didn't I predict this ??? ;)

Graham Westley has departed Peterborough United this evening.

How does this leave Devitt now (if rumours are to be believed) he is off to The Posh???
