Paz and others out of contract

Paz and others out of contract

Postby Christies Child » Sun Apr 10, 2016 11:14 am

It appears that with no discussions about budgets for next season that players such as Paz are in limbo as to what their futures at out club are. Having spoken to Paz's father yesterday the position with him is that he has been told to keep his options open. Read into that what you wish but for me it doesn't read that we have seen the last of a true servant despite what others appear to believe. Yes he hasn't been offered a contract nor have others but he hasn't been told unlike Willow that he's NOT going to be offered one and is therefore surplus to requirements. Until a budget with whoever is agreed than everything is up in the air.

Not an ideal situation for any management team existing or not to have to handle.....and one that needs clarification as a matter of urgency.

could be that Jim as a gentleman's agreement with a new defender(defensive leader) when his contract expires, costing the same in wages as Parrish.

hence telling Parrish to keep his options open, stringing him along you could say, Incase Jim doesn't get his man.

Andy has been told he's free to go, the only reason he's in the team is because Doyle and Dugdale are both injured, which makes things worse for our Jim seeing Dugdale before Parrish. He should be the first one out the door this summer !

Isn't he saying more or less the same thing Neil?

By the look of things it could all be immaterial, we could find the place is like the ''Marie Celeste'' in about a month, until a new owner starts hiring and firing.

Being told to keep your options open isn't the same as being told your not wanted...in my book anyhow....

Neil you don't apparently know who it was , that allegedly told parrish to ''keep his options open'', on that basis, your ''scoop'', off Parrishs' dad lacks validity, If he was told however, I dunno, Jim for example, then he might as well have said to him,'' You better start looking around sunshine''.

Get it?
