Jim, Ken and the players are under performing massively but given the circumstances its hardly surprising. Jim will know that if a new owner is found he will be out of a job, and without one, he will have a tiny budget to work to. All his best players will now be doing everything they can to get a move out, so for a loyal guy this must be hard to manage. He's too proud to walk away, so he is literally between a rock and a hard place.

Forget the management, players etc, its time to get behind Morecambe Football Club.

I think a silent protest would be worthwhile.

I wonder how many will even bother to turn up? Don't applaud them onto the pitch at the start? Sad times :( :(

Total silence when they run out and for the first seven minutes of the game.

I will be there Saturday as its my club for life and players come and go. Hopefully, we will have a new interim management team in the dugout.

Adam Lord on Twitter said Jim dragged all the players over to the away end. Not sure if they were then allowed to be flogged though...

He hardly dragged them out, he pointed at 2 or 3. Only 6 or so came over Kev and Ken were there at the end but nobody was getting much response.
They were clapping us rather than the other way round

And yes, please go Jim, the 20 threads started saying the same thing after every frigging loss are tedious now.

Well said. This could well be the end of the road but some of the vindictive hang 'em high comments here are appalling. Kendal Shrimp's comments of basically 'if you don't agree with me you're an idiot' are the actions of a lynch mob. Sure the Chairman and the Manager are responsible for where we are but the comments of some are making this a really unpleasant place to be.

We're in a vicious downward spiral and the fans need to rise above it and start working to save the club not help tear it to pieces.

Don't agree. Imagine your a potential new owner and decide to do your due diligence on the fans by reading some of the bile on here. Would you buy it?

At what point do you think the club would react or does PMG really not care anymore. Say we lost our next three games 5v0 would it just be a matter of turning a blind eye saying were safe anyway let's look forward to next seasn.

Then next season after a bad start do we just say but we have a small budget so we deserve to be bottom of the league.

It's bonkers

And that team wasn't that inexperienced last night is was better than the team at Daggenham.

The defence was inexperienced last night; but sounds like that was because Beeley is injured... although I think the defence chosen to start last night is one many people have been calling for... which is a bit worrying:

O'Hara 19 - played well at Orient and Stanley but it sounds like hes had a nightmare
Conlan 21 - done well onloan
Edwards 22 - has had a terrible season
Doyle 21 - looked ok in prior games
McGowan 19 - more games this season, but a few iffy performances recently. Needs to knuckledown and take his career more seriously and stay off social media
Hello! Hello! We are the Morecambe boys!

There are 3 games left, we are not going to be relegated.

Bentley is not going to resign or be sacked by the end of the season.

However, if something does not happen in the close season, it confirms to me that there are problems behind the scenes at the club and next season we could well be the league's whipping boys.

Kendal Shrimp

Don't do anything daft like a banner. It puts off prospective buyers and Jim does not deserve it.

Just support the team , pray someone buys us soon or otherwise we could be next seasons Dagenham/York.

I've decided over night and think the best thing to do is stay away until next season at least. I was angry last night when talking about protesting so I'm guna see who's running the club come August who the manager is and who we lose and sign before making a return to the globe. I've seen enough under Bentley and certainly won't be wasting anymore time going this season what's been dead for some time now !

Certainly not the time to walk away. Why not continue but protest in silence....

Agree with wild Bill 100% on this one! Chanting for Bentley to go and making banners? No thanks! I'm sure Jim was as peed off as the rest of us that were there last night. Get behind them on Saturday,we should be celebrating staying up after the crap luck we've had this season.
