I can't understand these comments.

From the Visitor....
The Shrimps boss said; “In life and in football you can’t dwell, you can’t look back."
- No Jim, you HAVE to look back, especially when you stumbled upon a winning team that entertained the paying fans! That you then changed and lost the next dreadfully!
"Every game’s difficult. You’ve got to give it your all just to get a point."
- but we haven't given it our all (at all) and haven't even come up with many points!!!
People keep saying... 'Careful what you wish for if Jim goes...!' But take limited funds out of the same old arguement, Uncle Pete from Vic and Bob could have a go and keep doing what we are doing!
I don't know the answer, other than to say we desperately need something fresh, something to build our hopes on, as unfortunately Jim has lost a lot of confidence as a Manager. It's not all now down to money, it's down to tactics and having a Manager.
I want to watch a team that has a go, not plays for a point, ATTACKS! If we lose after having a go... 'Oh well! At least we had a go, great game that!' - 'They were the better team' - ''yeah suppose, but at least we had a go'.
But what we have been given to watch, is so different to how we used to play, it's upsetting... And boring.

And seeing as I have just decided to voice my opinions... I will have another go. I (not trying to big myself up) paid for a lifetime ticket whilst at Christie Park. This is a go at the Business side of things. Why the bloody hell do the club seem it fit to give free tickets away to the same people, every week! (Some of who I used to stand with for a couple of seasons that don't come any more)...! Happened at Christie I know, but ffs. I tried to upgrade to a different area in the the new ground as I already had a valid entry... (as all my Christie mates moved across for a far better experience) and the reply was 'sorry, nothing we can do'. Well Cheers. Nice to know you give a shit. (Nothing in the small print eh)... Did that mention moving ground to shitter facilities??... Yes, you guessed it. I don't come any more.
I miss our (Christie) Family Club.

understand your frustrations with the team Bro.

take newcomers Burnley and Sean Dyche in the premier league last year they fought tooth and nail for every point against the big boys last season when they got relegated, fans can accept that.

Both Dyche and Jim were big no nonsense centre defenders who wore their hearts on their sleeves and became heroes for the fans. As a Manager, I think Dyche is top class. He seems to drag an extra 20% out of ordinary players and really gets them playing above their natural level. Last night at the final whistle he went straight to the Burnley fans who had filled their end and you could see they love him. I love all that passion and I really admire how Dyche has tapped in to it and Burnley are thriving on it.

Jim has none of that now. He is becoming bitter and isolated from the fans. Rather than being the passionate chest thumping Dyche character we had hoped for, he is whinging and feeling sorry for himself.

can you not sell on or name somebody else on your lifetime sason ticket? I'm sure you allowed to name somebody on it just the once?

I think the club could try and meet you halfway by knocking off the price off a lifelong season ticket in the stands and you pay for the difference in part exchange for a lifelong season ticket in the seating?

No George. Only my my wife or my Son, but that was only in the first few years. I had a buyer, but no. 'Nothing in the small print apparently'. Your suggestion was exactly what I was hoping to be able to do. But if they let me do it, apparently... Everyone would be wanting to do it.... (Yes... That's right, 'every one' who had a lifetime at the Christie Car Wash and wanted to pay the difference every week at the Globe would be wanting to do it, for a sit down and a few pints...) there were thousands of us...

That is right, i'm one of the thousands! :D It was only transferable under 10 years, but i thought you could pay extra now to upgrade to another part of the ground. In a way i was a little surprised they didn't see the ground move as an opportunity to scrap them! Glad they didn't though! 20 years watching for £1,000.00 bargain
Don't worry be happy!

Ha! Good work! ;-) I paid twice that! Wasn't 10 years in my small print and was only transferable to an immediate family member... Fair enough, I signed and agreed to that.
Anyway, back to the main title, is it just me that picked up on these comments? Are they points we have all missed and are all seeing differently? What is he on about? Excuse after excuse. Best thing he could say would be to admit 'I'm doing my best, but I don't really know what I'm doing'. I'd probably accept that.

Can anybody argue with that?
From the Visitor interview again...
Bentley said: “I believe the league is stronger this year and clubs like ourselves and Stevenage have found that because we’re at the wrong end of the table."
and they beat us 1-4 at home....
Priceless.
If that doesn't put a final end to a poor managers excuses, I don't know what will.
