Going to be our 10th season in the Football League. Regardless of what happens I think that deserves some celebration. :D

"Dear Season Ticket Holder (past and present)"

Good to see the club are reaching out to lapsed season ticket holders too.

An adult ticket for £219 allowing up to three under 14's in for free.
A £10 voucher for the club shop.
Free Morecambe Player worth £37.99
20% discount at Frankie & Benny's Restaurant.

Pretty good value to watch Football League football.

The letter from Peter McGuigan was positive, while realistic. Hopefully we'll be kept up to date with developments off the pitch, even if the 'news' is that there is no news.

Incidentally, Morecambe Player gives you access to ALL PLAYER commentaries. So, for example, last night, my wife wanted to listen to the Burnley v PNE commentary, so I logged in to Burnley Player.

So how did that work out then?

Got my application also BUT have to say that I'm somewhat disappointed to see that no inventive schemes to make payment easier have been forthcoming especially as it was raised at the Fans Forum.

Looks I may be vacating my seat in Premier C and opting for a concession seat in another block.

This will no doubt be excellent news to the manager and his assistant....   ;)

I'm not renewing unless there's changes in ownership and management. I'm also done for the season too but hopefully the lads will give everyone something to be happy about today after Tuesday nights horrific show !

Well neither is likely before the early bird expires so you will find yourself paying more.

Really! I didn't realise that. The Burnley Comms team are something else! Passion at it's best! :D

No thanks.

I feel bad about not renewing but it doesn't make sense. I'm not going to throw any more money at the club unless things improve both on and off the field. Perishing winter nights stuck on the Omega watching the rubbish dished up for much of the season is more like torture. I will pay to go to games that appeal otherwise I am happy to say that unless we need to beat Stevenage and the like to gain promotion or avoid relegation I won't be seeing them playact again.

Life is about being happy. Following Morecambe for the past few years hasn't made me happy. I'm a glory hunter now :D

Same here, not renewing. This time last year I decided not to renew, but then, got excited with Jim's signings and changed my mind. What a mistake. Won't be happening again. I'll always support the team, but I'll be picking and choosing which games I come to now rather than feeling as if I have to come down to get my ST money's worth.

I was toying with the idea of getting a season ticket next season but I am not wasting anymore money on the current regime. I too will pick and choose what games i go to next season. I never thought a day would come when I start to lose my passion for my club but sat here tonight, I don't see myself going back until we are not expected to pay £16+ and accept the rubbish on offer.

Had ST's for many years, for as long as I could afford to buy one, but been feeling the same for at least the last two seasons now, and like Caged Lion, I too have gained little pleasure in freezing in the Omega on winters nights with very little joy. Presently erring on pay-as-I-pick-and-choose, when / if things change for the better.

Sad thing, is that for these guys giving up after so many years, they will get no contact to try and entice them back

Would love to know who at the club thought it was a good idea for the renewal packs to land on the doormat on the same day as a home match, given how awful we've been.

It was then a great effort from the management and team to put in one of the worst displays of the season to make up the minds of many fans who were still on the fence about renewing for next season.

It really is a spectacular effort from all involved with Morecambe FC to manage to piss off such a large amount of people in a relatively short space of time, to the extent that it will be a long time before some of them are back, and some may never come back.

Bravo!

Our season ticket sales are not great , so the renewals are going to be of negligable benefit to our clubs financial state.

Season ticket holders (650ish) made up over half of yesterdays announced gate yesterday; although it was clear by the gaps that many of them didnt show up! Cell block C looked quite full but everywhere else was empty.

there are less than 500 if you take away the complimentary ones, so if we lost 100, that would be 20 grand, or a weeks wage bill.

What a stupid post, makes no sense at all,all teams/clubs have bad spells dosent mean we should just walk away,,thru good times and bad,I will be renewing my season ticket because i think things will change for the better, bad season but it,s not the time panic, more prem money next season new owners ?,new sponsors ? saturdays game was not good but but it mite be the last straw for some but not for me,jim/club know it,s not good but i believe things will change .you never know in football we mite just do a leicester city, it would be great if that came true,if i was to walk away i would not feel i was a true supporter coming back if we went up,

Complimentary season ticket holders? Are you referring to ones sponsors get as part of sponsorship packages... or is the paid up freebie brigade worse than I thought? Still, 500 out of our gate is a hefty proportion of people who shouldnt be taken for granted; I think they are important as highlighted by TOM (The Omega Man) at the fans forum in terms of a cash injection to keep the club going when the season finishes. The short early bird renewal date is quite telling..... they want our money now!

I have two jobs and a one year old. I have little time and not a lot of spare cash.

We're not talking about a couple of bad performances. We're talking about three seasons of mostly awful football and poor results. £220 isn't something I have to spend on something that I don't enjoy while I'm there.

The ever dwindling crowd suggests there are many who feel the same. Call us glory hunters if you like, but time he come to spend my time and money more productively unless there are serious changes at the club.
