whats that got to do with the performance on the pitch whilst still on the payroll

I agree you play at your best to put yourself in the shop window. On these performances clubs are not going to be interested apart from Devitt. Miller was not playing, so don't know what has happened to him today. Jim has past his use by date & need a fresh start come August. Thanks for the memories Jim but have to agree with some disgruntled fans that it is time for a change.

Millers Ms is due to give birth, hence his absence. Parrish partner not well either apparently. Wish them both well.

Cheers RedRedWine. Bit worried at first that he had gone off the radar for good like Wilson. Hopefully with new owners we can keep Miller for at least another season. Hope we have plenty of good news in the summer.

It perhaps doesn't come across too well in the written word, it wasn't gutted & depressed, or feeling sorry for themselves. They were both honestly speaking. Perhaps 'frustrated' would be a better description. They were both saying they need to work harder and fight. I suppose what I was trying to get across is that they were not players who'd lost interest or faith in the management.

I don't know if the interviews will appear on Radio Lancashire at a later date? If so, you'll be able to hear them for yourselves. As I said, not direct quotes.

I left with 20mins to go today; didn't take a jacket and it was freezing.... But overwhelmingly the reason for leaving was because the second half performance was abysmal. If I didn't have a season ticket I don't think I'd bother going against York either; I've gone past caring with this team now.

I like Jim and appreciate what he has done, but the apathy from the paying public towards the team he has assembled is testified with the crowd today and the number of people who have found better things to do with their Saturdays other than supporting their own football league side. We need a new direction, and whilst I'll always support the team and Jim it is time for a change.

Everyone behind the goal texting to say Stockton got a touch.

Which really begs the question... why are people behind the goal listening to Morecambe Player in the first place? The commentary must be about thirty seconds behind what they've just seen

It was definitely Stockton who got the final touch for the goal.

As for the rest of the afternoon. Lost for words. Absolutely. 89 goals conceded this season. 89.

Knew it would be a shit day when we were kicking towards the home end in the first half.

Message to Blackpool FC: Please take Connor Oliver back.

That, is all.

Also; what is the point in having an end of season awards night... Just cancel it. We would be celebrating the fact that somehow York and Dagenham are worse than us, although both have beaten us! Give Roche goal of the season before the York game and be done with it.

Agree entirely RRW.

It's been a downward spiral since we were 3-0 up at Portsmouth and drew 3-3.

It's been a shite season and I really cannot WAIT for it to end.

On another note, did I observe Kenny McKenna having a errrr, "conversation" with a fan in the PMG mid second half?

There was a definite groan around the stand when Oliver came on , he is possibly the worst player I have seen playing for MFC in recent times and that takes some doing . I just know we are going to end up signing him , if the management can't see how poor he is god help us :(

It was his horrible touch that led to the third goal. A simple pass bounced off his shin pad and straight to their player who ran most of the pitch totally unchallenged to score. Shame to pick on the lad though as he is clearly not up to it and should never have been brought to the club.

I know none of the players were great...... But again I thought Kev was poor(why does he start) and barky just looks like he dosent know what to do...... 2 players chasing the same ball as nobody seems to know who's man it is..... No short passes.... After the 1st Stevenage goal went in the defence lost its shape, heads went down....

I wasn't going to bother with it but I'm cynically and maybe sadistically drawn to it, just to see how it goes...

Yep a certain prolific poster on here came out with a load of expletives about our performance etc., he could have put it more eloquently but didn't

Ended up with Ken facing the stand while the game was on, being quite vocal towards said fan and a steward being brought in to calm it down.

Said fan left before the end, probably a good idea.

Had a great breakfast this morning, not sure if it paid off with about 22 people partaking, but at least it took some of the pain away between 3 and 5.

This is getting the norm now and the season needs to end before anarchy, fighting and disruption break out.

Probably 250 in the Omega, with probably half that when the whistle blew. Waited till at least 5.30 and even the presenter of MOM was lost for words

Dagenham 2 M 1

A bleak run of results, we did well at Leyton and beating Barnet, then the draw at Accy, but the rest has been pretty abysmal, No clean sheets and conceding 22 in 6 games this month is dire

Never heard such a quiet ground at the end of a match! A brief boo and some shouting Bentley out for a few seconds then all can be heard was the applauding away fans as we shuffle out after the now expected defeat. I will be very surprised if we manage another point this season. Exeter will turn us over easily, relegated York will do the double over us and they will probably have more supporters in our ground for their last game in the football league. They will all be thinking how is it we are going down and not Morecambe??

Was said prolific poster wearing a striped tea cosy atop his head , if so I think I saw him sloping off after a bit of McKenna finger waving :o ;) .

Can't believe they are even contemplating this , Andy has been a stalwart in our defence for years and even though he hasn't had the best season he would still be in my starting 11 every week .

Kev has been woeful this season, he looks like he is 5 yards slower than anyone else on the pitch yet he has a new deal for next season. Paz was well worth a new deal and it is a crime if we have refused to offer him new terms.

"Their current points tally, admittedly with two games to go, of 44 would have seen them clear of the drop by just three last season. That is largely an exception however. The season before. 2013-2014 Torquay finished bottom with 45 points and in 2012-2013, Aldershot had 48."

44 points, with two games to go... we could still make the 50 point safety mark!

Obviously, we won't...   but we could!

1 minute and 35 seconds.

Oliver loses the ball woefully. Tries weakly to get it back.

Watch him, just watch him give up the chase as a lost cause.

Stevenage run through and Stevenage score.
