O/T Thank Goodness for Leicester

O/T Thank Goodness for Leicester

Postby Keith » Sun Apr 24, 2016 3:59 pm

Something to keep me interested in football this season! 2-0 at the moment (nearly half time). The dream continues.

One of the commentators just said "every Leicester player knows their job". Our players look like they were introduced to each other ten minutes before kick off :?
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

I wouldn't have put it as much as 10 minutes after this week's performances..
D3 fending from the front helps Leicester, lost count of the number of clean sheets while the whole team protects Schmeichel who hardly has a save to make

watching the FA cup semi, they said before population of Watford is 60.000 and they average 10.000 at home, brilliant support.

but anyway back on topic, difference is Leicester have only used around 18 players this season, and kept things simple. no tinkering.

Spurs don't seem to agree with fox hunting.

Title race over?

On SSN Dermot Gallagher used a video of Ellison and Edwards pulling the hair of Marcus Bean (Wycombe). He says the three match ban given to these players set a precedent and the same punishment should be awarded to Robert Huth for his incident with Fellaini yesterday.

Goes to show that any team of journeymen footballers can win if they have the belief and the right tactical approach. Hell even we can do a Leicester...given a bit of luck and the will of the players...,,,

:) :D :D

There are quite a few fans round the country collecting £25,000 or more from the bookies. One Chelsea fan was waving a banner saying thank you to Claudio for making him £25K better off

just shows what a small club playing in a big league, being tipped for relegation with a small squad of players and positive attitude can do.

well done, they are an inspiration for us underdogs.

Crazy celebrations at the Vardy household being shown.

As they say Jamie Vardy's having a party.

Good to watch was that, most of the beer had been hidden  ...

Wish that "buy Jamie Vardy" bucket had been bigger a few years ago

If you had said win L2, then we can dream and live in hope - as for Premier League Champions, we would have to dig King Richards body up first

Now there is the joy of watching Burnley in the Premier League with their brand of 1-nil boring football.

They will send more people to sleep than Doctor Shipman

We need to tweak things a bit..

2016 form to date:

Leicester
P17..W 11..D5..L1...11 clean sheets..38/51

Morecambe
P23..W4..D5..L14...1 clean sheet..17/69

The draw column is a start
