It might be the end of the season, but.....

....for the management team it's a busy couple of weeks.

Of those out of contract the only ones I'd like to keep are Shaun, Jamie and Ryan.....the others can go with our thanks but time for them to move on to pastures new.

We need to rebuild the defence and bring in some height and aggression into a soft centred midfield.

Up front it really depends on who decides to stay but Stockdale could prove to be worthy of a place assuming that a deal with Tranmere can be agreed. But we need other options especially out wide on both flanks.

I for one don't envy the task of rebuilding ; my only hope is that we build a squad capable of playing attractive, entertaining football centred on a game played on the deck. I just don't think that fans can be happy with the prospect of yet another season of hoof football.....

WE HAD SUCH A SQUAD AT THE START OF THE SEASON AND FINISHED WITH THE SAME SQUAD.
But we were conceding TOO many goals so we fcked about with the team/formation and blamed the poor results on anything but the right reasons.

So Devitt hasn't signed a pre contract agreement with Peterborough as rumoured.

Don't know how true it is but I've heard Devitts move to Peterborough is off after Westley got sacked as it was only a verbal agreement. Be great if we could re-sign Jamie Shaun and Ryan with Murphy coming back. A experienced CB alongside Ryan then this would be a good spine to build around !

I for one can not stand another season of Bentleys management style.

The only way that our club under the existing management team can increase their playing budget is for next seasons squad to play with style and at the same time provide entertainment that will encourage the crowds to return which in turn would provide additional funds to further improve the squad during the season.

However I'm just not sure that the management team are capable of changing their tactics and match day style to ensure a more entertaining and winning combination.

I wonder if our manager will give a rallying speech at the end of the game to the loyal supporters? Or will it be a quick vanishing act into the tunnel??
