Stanley to league 1

We took 10 points off Wimbledon and Accrington and 12 in total against the 4 play-off teams.

We only took 4 points off the 2 relegated teams.

This shows how it is fine lines.

a good example.

we win 4-2 at home, then go away at Dagenham make wholesale changes, then get beat, having a player who scored 2 goals in the previous game sat on the bench.

that's Managment.

Forget yesterday's game, if Barky didn't score that equaliser a couple of weeks ago Stanley would be in league 1 now, or if that big scramble at the end went in they'd also be in league one too

The dropped points against us cost them big time. Hopefully Wimbledon do the business but I can't see them going up now !

It is beyond me how a Morecambe fan can point and laugh at Accrington after the season they have had. They have been fantatsic all season and pushed it until the last game of the season! They are now mixing it in the playoffs with 2 of the leagues big boys and I wouldn't put it past them to go and win at Wembley. Our season fell apart and we became the leagues whipping boys conceding an obscene amount of goals in the process. We have spent the season being told to accept our limitations but Accrington have stuck 2 fingers up at the league and stormed it. Fair play to them and shame on us.

Oh bore off! Of course Accy did well but everyone is entitled to laugh at their last minute screw up in the same way as they put up on a banner saying "MFC non-league forever".

Stanleys disallowed goal at Wimbledon as the half time whistle sounded looks costly now, as does 1 point from 6 against the Shrimps when usually they take the lot!

I hope Wimbledon go up now; we travel well to Stanley whilst Pompey and Plymouth bring more fans. It will also be interesting and poetic to see Wimbledon and MK Dons in the same league.
Hello! Hello! We are the Morecambe boys!

"I knew back then ( Wimbledon league game) that decision would cost us......he retires at Gigg Lane today and I for one will be sending him into retirement with as many expletives as I can get away with from the main stand at Gigg...

THE decision that cost us league ONE football......

Ultimate irony we end up playing Wimbledon in the play-offs.....Horrible feeling Akinfenwa will bounce us out of them.."
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think
