They expect a new owner in place by the end of the month but if not it's guna be virtually impossible to keep the likes of devitt Miller Fleming and Edwards with there wages having to be almost cut in half for them to re-sign as that's the best the club can offer at this moment. Worrying times let's hope we can get a new owner ASAP or with us only being able to offer wages like this then surely there's only one place we'll be this time next year :(

Fly on the wall stuff again. :?: :!: :?:

Its what I've heard today from someone in the club. We've got 8 players under contract can see us now just going for loads of free season long long signings of kids as we won't have a budget to re-sign our own players on realistic wages never mind get better ones in. Obviously al could change with a new owner but that's the situation at the minute. The club can't offer the out of contract players the same deals they were on last season who they'd like to keep !

Assuming that your mole is correct then what a miserable close season and news of new signings we can look forward to.

We'll be lucky to cobble together a squad never mind a competitive squad.

If the current management are still here next season then i expect at best a similar position as we ended up in! Small crowds so the budget will again reduce. We will be cheering winning a corner come Christmas! One good thing next season.......the traffic situation should be much better with the wonderful new bypass open :D
Don't worry be happy!

It's what I've been told MPH today. Why would Fleming and Edwards not re-sign along with anyone else if the club could offer them the same deal ? Besides Miller and devitt you'd expect the rest won't have offers elsewhere but what do we know ? Alls I'm saying is what I've been told today and PMG has giving a even smaller budget this time round if he can't sell the club but is hopefully we can have new owners by the end of the month. The visitor reported yesterday that there was n negotiations with everyone besides the ones released and after hearing what I did today it's not rocket science to believe it after yesterday's news from the club !

Just wonder with the football league receiving more money this coming season that some players might think they are entitled to a increase in their contract, that would be a bit rich though after the season that we have just had.
