I don't agree with Jim for not playing his best team towards the end of the season in certain games, but as Devitt acknowledged in the interview you are referring to; Jim was taking the opportunity to have a look at players for next season. As it is, the Dagenham game was in itself a useful exercise because it highlighted that Oliver most definitely shouldn't be a professional footballer.
