O/T AFC Fylde to go F/T

O/T AFC Fylde to go F/T

Postby Christies Child » Mon May 23, 2016 5:25 pm

Very much like ourselves when we went full time.

Not on gates to justify the move but can afford to do it thanks to the financial clout of the Chairman, something that we seem to have forgotten when we took the step.... ;) ;) ;)

The only difference being that we were in the highest League in Non League whilst AFC Fylde are in the level below, but with a new stadium that could surpass ours they have certainly big ambitions.

Good luck to 'em and could one day have local derbys v Blackpool and Fleetwood in League 1 and 2.

Their chairman was being interviewed on Radio Lancashire this morning.

He reckons it will be "touch and go" as to whether their new stadium is ready in time for the new season.

Sounds familiar.....!!
