Wonder if Blackpool will come knocking... :?: :?: :?:

Some Cobblers fans want him to take over as they move to League 1.

Wouldn't be surprised if he moves on.

"Boss John Coleman has warned Accrington may not be able to repeat a promotion challenge in League Two next season.

Stanley missed out on automatic promotion on goal difference and then lost 3-2 on aggregate to AFC Wimbledon in their play-off semi-final tie.

"The last three weeks have been an absolute nightmare," he said.

"We'll go again next year but it will be more difficult. Teams will be wise to us and we won't be the surprise package."

Cobblers have appointed Port Vales Rob Page as their new manager in what must surely be the biggest sideways move seen since Craig Stanleys passes graced Morecambes green an pleasant land.

Surprised Coleman hasn't been mentioned for any jobs in league 1 so far like Blackpool Bolton or charlton, missed the game last night but can't say I wasn't happy when I heard the result  looking forward to playing accy again next season, they'll need to recruit well losin Windass crooks and anyone else some of the bigger clubs have their eye on !

He has been mentioned for Bolton.

I mentioned it above in this thread having read the rumours on both the Accy and Normid Wanderers (one for the oldies that...!) forums.

I meant with any book makers. Haven't seen any odds for him or even on a list of 20 people for any jobs with William hill sky bet or paddy power

He took over a terrible rochdale side that were at the bottom of league one anyway, he couldnt keep them up, but the following season he had them just outside the league 2 playoffs when he got sacked, he was there less than a year , hardly ''miserable'' , if you want to see what ''miserable'' looks like , find your nearest mirror

Rochdale have sacked manager John Coleman and his assistant Jimmy Bell.

Dale lie 14th in npower League Two, six points shy of the play-off places following their relegation last season, but have endured a dismal run in recent months.

After being dumped out of the FA Cup by Morecambe in a first-round replay, Coleman has overseen a run of eight defeats in 11 league matches.

3 wins out of 11 would be viewed as ''great stuff'', here :)

Surprising what a wee bit of money invested in a former poor neighbour can do....BUT money doesn't always bring success.....it does help though...

It's all a bit doom and gloom on here at the moment so I thought I would share some amusing quotes from a Rangers forum about Accy and Andy Holt:

EDIT: You know what, I can't be arsed editing it all. You knew that wasn't acceptable, you could have cleaned it up yourself.

Gained another today though another goalkeeper and all now signing on 2 year deals or 1 with the option of another one I think our last close season of being cherry picked of our better players bit of money does,nt guarantee success but it keeps the wolves from the door and stops all the worry among staff management team and fans.

Elliot Parish last season's Colchester keeper who played 28 games for them in their relegation season.

The quotes had both 'words beginning with F' and 'words beginning with C'. Many people find the 'C' version more offensive. Using "c***' is less offensive to people who object. Also, it's safer with younger people, which is kind of how the 'ban on naughty words' came in, a father was sat with his young son reading SV together and the father didn't want his son to read those words. Personally, I'm not offended by them and have used 'naughty words' myself. When your post was then quoted, by someone drawing attention to the naughty words, I wasn't going to go through both posts, censoring it. I did find it amusing, but you've been around long enough to know how this forum works!
