Update on Steve Coburn

Most of you are probably aware regarding Steves accident a few weeks back.....just to let you know he's been transferred from Preston Royal Infirmary to the RLI, to begin his rehabilitation.
May the fork be with you....

She bit her lip and breathed in deeply as I forced myself in. No doubt about it - if I didn't lose weight, I'd need to get a bigger shed.

Having seen him a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't believe this excellent news a couple of days ago. He looked totally gone, to be honest, but he has got good friends and fellow members of staff, particularly Samma who has been to Preston every day. Needless to say Rod Taylor has been too.

Thanks for the updates. Let's hope the good news can keep coming, even if it is a slow recovery.

Puts football and some of the continual moaning, in to context.

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

So pleased to hear the news about Steve. People talk about the lifeblood of a football club and Steve is part of ours. His curmudgeonly persona is mixed with genuine humour and warmth. Would really miss the match pint banter at the back of the stand. Keep battling Steve.

As I said 'a persona' not what he's actually like. He loves to come across as a curmudgeon. I remember after the fire alarm incident and him blaming all and sundry and then a fantastic joke, a huge grin and then wandered off laughing.

I for one can't wait to ask him this... I would suggest his answer will follow on the lines of what Posh was saying

For those who don't know, Steve came off his bike on the prom, and suffered a bad head injury.

Having not been over for 2 weeks, when I saw him monday I was overjoyed at the improvement. There is still a long way to go, But he's on his way back to being Steve, ( if that's a good thing.)
