As soon as I have any info it goes on here GS of course it's only speculation I'm posting until the club confirm it but anything I hear is always shared with my fellow shrimps ;)

I have retired now due to getting on a bit. Still follow what's happening though and keep in touch with Chesh.

Good to hear that Oracle is still active and keeping abreast of things via Chesh and Co. :D :D :D

I have a warm feeling about it. Don't know why. I can just imagine (hope) a takeover by a self-made entreprenneur with good business acumen who can actually take forward the club and properly make it self-sustaining. Someone in the image of Branson or Sugar (obviously on a smaller scale), but someone who knows how to create a business out of nothing. Someone who can understand the market and give them what they want.

Don't want to see a load of "suits" coming in with corporate mentality. I know it's a nice thought for someone coming in throwing millions at it, but unless the club is turned around and made self-sufficient, the money will again run out or the millionaire will lose interest.
