It sounds like he's hoping that someone better than Crewe try and sign him so he's playing for time.

To be fair, Jamie has probably had positive talks with a few clubs.

If hes going to leave Morecambe then Crewe could be a good fit; he'll get games and less travel from Manchester (?).

The fact that he is talking to other clubs brings this into question though:

Devitt to Carlisle , totally gutted for us , hope he a got a good deal for himself, Carlisle fans should be dancing in the streets, and this is another bad signal emanating from the globe , next seasons fare will be greatly diminished by the failure to keep him in morecambe.
