Miller and Devitt

The Hospitality is irrelevant, its good and it brings in a bit of money so its not harming anything, the reality is ''use it or lose it'' isn't a blackmail threat, it's a reality, like any business, the terraces need at least 800 per match on them or we end up in the conference sooner or later.

So what are the Board/Management doing to get them back besides using the "use it or lose it" threat that seems to be the only thing they ever come up with, and which is clearly not working.

That's why I say complete change is needed, we need new ideas - everything's gone stale and the best the management can come up with is "use it or lose" it - that's pretty poor really. Management is all about leadership, new ideas, driving things forward - there's none of that at MFC anymore. It's all just degenerated to just doing the same things all the time and wishful thinking that there'd be different results.

People have suggested that Jim and Ken had lost the dressing room. Well, I think the bigger problem is that the Board has lost the supporters and that's going to take a lot of time and effort to reverse.

We renewed STs for past 3 years based upon optimistic statements made by Board and management. Anticipating An improvement on the field. The squad was good enough to challenge a play-off slot last season but things went so badly wrong it morphed into a joke. I'm not good with asking my mates to come and support a club that don't deliver ANYTHING they have promised. STs are an investment in entertainment. Like all forms of entertainment, when the product deteriorates the pundits stay away.

It's abundantly clear that nobody enjoys the games any more, the atmosphere is chronic and lots of us aren't putting up with it

When things change I will happily come back. The pleasure of match days at Christie Park are long gone. I truly did stop looking forward to the games this year. It certainly isn't my fault that things went tits up and I can't justify more wasted money for the probability of even worse next season

Relegation doesn't trouble me. It's the way I feel we were duped by McGuigan and co that pisses me off. At least they are promising nothing the time so we can't complain if we do get relegated

The club have received money for nothing in recent seasons. Whilst Jim and the players are having a jolly good time in the dressing room, us poor buggers behind the goal feel utterly cheated

The sooner we sell the better

Yeah I much preferred playing in parks, playgrounds in service stations in front of one man and a dog.

The club isn't a community charity. People need to get something back for their £17 other than the increasingly outdated notion of "supporting your local club" - which would see lots of our supporters be sent to watch Lancaster if it were properly implemented.

I didn't renew my season ticket, and unless there's a sudden turnaround in the direction of the club, I won't be - £250 or whatever it costs just isn't worth it anymore. I've had a season ticket since I moved to the town 12 years ago. I'm genuinely sad that it's come to this, but this season I absolutely hated going to the Globe, after September it was torture rather than enjoyment. Reading this message board, there wasn't a lot of other people having fun either.

The club has done an excellent job of alienating a large portion of it's regular support - about the only thing it has done a good job of since it moved from Christie park.

The chairman obviously agrees its not a charity, and thats why he wants to stop ''donating'' to it.

+1

PMG definately got us into the FL, and I will always be eternally grateful for that, but where is he going to leave us, back in the conference its looking like.

but without our beloved CP and the North Stand, and instead we've got this carbuncle of a ground that's alienated nearly everyone except the chosen few.

so many broken promises since the move it hurts, debt free and self financing we were told, and now look what's happened

Whoever picked the photo of Jamie on the headlines page on the OWS must have a wicked sense of humour.....shows Jamie with his back to the camera as if to say 'I'm turning my back on Morecambe to sign for the Dumbrians'.....

Just hope that he doesn't live to regret it as they have also signed another winger so competition could be intense.....just wish him well :?: :?: :?:

Maybe the massive club he has just joined might consider letting him come back to us on a season long loan ;)
