The latest rumour I have heard is Jim will have a maximum of 16 senior pro's and the rest of the squad will be made up of youngsters. The same reliable source has also been told that not one potential buyer has expressed an interest in looking at the clubs books.

IF TRUE then the decision of the management team to let Sam Bailey go was ridiculous as he was one of the youngsters who had some potential and would have been ideal as the clubs 17th man....and would have provided a full compliment of subs on the bench who had albeit limited first team experience.



As for the lack of interest in looking the clubs books, this appears to contradict the information given to the Fans discussion group with the Directors and begs the question can we really believe what is being spoken and written about a take over any longer.....

Why would the Gala Night give any hope ?

We only have 12 players to sponsor !

Clutching on straws, but maybe the Gala night being later than usual is paving the way for a big announcement and where better to do it (from the suits point of view) than in front of the tables of sharp dressed business people lording it up on the rather fine menu on offer - even had to Google some of the course descriptions

They certainly won't need the size of sponsor a player board that they normally have

Don't they usually leave some spaces to sponsor that have no names on the Gala Day in readiness for players still to be signed ?

Yes, un named 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 22 etc etc .. If there is just to be 16 pros, then we don't really need 20+ any more
