Shrimps Voices table at The MFC Gala Evening

Anybody interested in taking up an offer that has been made by the Club, due to a late table withdrawal?

It has been suggested to me that Shrimps Voices has its own table and draw entry at the forthcoming Gala Draw night on Saturday 2nd July.

A table of 12 could be made available for this superb Black tie event at a cost of £40 per head including a 3 course meal and live entertainment. With all the funds raised on the night going to help out OUR club. This would be an ideal way for contributors of Shrimps Voices to actively support OUR club on a night when next seasons kit will be launched as well as an opportunity to sponsor a squad player for season 2016-17.

Somewhat disappointed that to date only 4 fans have said that they would like to attend.

Anyone else thinking about it you have until 7pm tomorrow evening to commit.

It's been well publicised that this is the highlight of the clubs social calendar and it would be a shame to miss out on this event that has never before been offered to Shrimps Voices before and would be the first of future tables at the club's Gala Evening.

Have to agree but the club only got in touch via another matter with the offer of a table.

To those who responded positively then I'm sorry to report that apathy has won the day and that the offer of a table reserved for the exclusive use of Shrimps Voices has had to be regretfully declined due to insufficient interest.

Perhaps this demonstrates that Shrimpsvoices is not the first point of call for Morecambe fans anymore and that gathering feedback on items concerning the club (e.g. suggested names for the club bar) is flawed, since it is not representative of our fanbase or in fact many people at all?

That, or 10 people don't want to spend an evening with you.... even your fellow SADARSES.

I've been to a few of these events in the recent past; they are a bit tedious but do raise a lot of money for the club.

In hindsight as well, offering a table to ShrimpsVoices users on the Thursday when the deadline is Sunday night is a bit short notice too!

This offer should have been made weeks ago.
