EU vote O/T

There's only one to blame for brexit and THAT is the EU itself ....
The crazy open border policy recently certainly didn't help the EU'S cause (to many migrants to quickly to absorb)
Have said this before and say again the EU is doomed.....

The euro is And so is the ideal (for some) of a 'United States of Europe'. I'd not be surprised if, now that the referendum is over, bad news surfaces again in repeat of certain countries in the euro.

In the coming months I expect the German economy to suffer and inevitably lead to the collapse of the deutschmark

After pondering over which way to vote I finally decided to vote STAY. Not for myself as at my age it will have little consequence BUT for my daughter and future grand children ( :?: ) their futures will be determined by a 'little Britain' mentality that has shown that it cares more about immigration than the economic realities.

Unfortunately this has been more a vote for anti immigration than our membership of the EU.

luckily no, I punted it to several of my BREXIT supporting friends and none of them had the bottle to have a wager, I am obviously delighted at this as the money I saved can be put towards Mortgage payments when the cost of living starts going up.

The simple fact is that nobody really knows what will happen in both the short term and long term as no other country has done what we have done so there is nothing to gauge the outcome to.

It may well be that our action has started a chain reaction in other EU countries that could well lead to the break up of the EU as we know it OR could in fact lead to the development of a new conglomerate of nations purely interested in inter government trade rather than a political alliance.....a return in fact to what the original EEC was all about.

Yes.. but I do know Neil and I am willing to bet on it, if you fancy a wager , I will bet the Bank of England base rate rises by full one per cent minimum before the end of this year.

I love the way that is posted like it is a surprise? I would expect that every serious nation, including the UK, had a 'Plan A' & 'Plan B' for a Remain/Exit outcome. Whether the agreements will be better for the UK than before, remains to be seen.

Currently I'm terrified by the fact that I'll be graduating University with debt of 60,000 pounds but it's the industry which I'm graduating for gets given grants from European union and most of the intellectual property is tied us in the EU

shocking viewing on the news with a petition by the remain

The Remain side are now demanding ANOTHER referendum just to get the result they want

1. Can't they just accept a democratic result which was achieved despite the constant bullying name calling and threats from those on the remain side

2. They wouldn't agree with another referendum had they got a remain result

3. accept it, move on.

What evidence is there that it's 'the Remain side'? That statement implies, though I accept I may be misinterpreting your post, that this is part of something semi-official. Nigel Farage said before the vote that a 52/48% vote would be 'unfinished business' which could result in a second referendum. Personally I haven't signed the petition and don't intend to. The decision's made; I'll have to live with your decision like the whole country. I'm not desolate, I'm not crying foul, but I do think it's a decision we'll regret. Now we wait and see. At the very least Osbourne should go. He has absolutely zero credibility after this.

Its a matter of time before other countries follow suit and hold a referendum for in/out.

Holland , France maybe Italy and eventually even Germany who would welcome a return to the Deutchmark.
