This offer should have been made weeks ago.

Totally agree.

Unfortunately that was out of my hands.

I've already suggested that a table should be made available next year.

Made available and advised about in plenty of time too.

Lots of people are on holiday currently too Neil don't forget, maybe hence the lack of take up?

Anyone else thinking about it you have until 7pm tomorrow evening to commit.

It's been well publicised that this is the highlight of the clubs social calendar and it would be a shame to miss out on this event that has never before been offered to Shrimps Voices before and would be the first of future tables at the club's Gala Evening.

Honestly the first time I've seen this thread. Alas I'm busy otherwise I'd have been in.

If you were less busy, you'd read SV more frequently!

So how did that work out then?

It was obviously an afterthought being offered so late in the day, I have already declined offers on other tables , nice try though Neil, but these things require reasonable notice.

Was quite amusing 3 or so years ago, there was a table full of invited guys all with their jeans and open shirts on, totally oblivious of the dress code, allowed to stay as money was to be made

Just to be clear on this. The club have a table cancelled and offer it to SV. It can't be filled which is the club's fault for not giving the forum enough time.

Shame no one thought to put a forum table together when they were advertised and available

Is it not better to sell 6 seats at £40, Rather than have an empty table ? Unless they THINK they will sell it.

It might be a shame, but on the other hand, if users of this forum are attending on other tables its as broad
as its long, insisting it has to be a full table, and therin losing out on half a dozen customers is bad business in anyones reckoning though.

The money is made by selling draw tickets, not actually filling the tables. One does lead to another but how many on the SV's table would buy a draw ticket for £175 + VAT
