Grimsby (A)

Grimsby (A)

Firstly, who is considering (at this early stage) to go to Grimsby ?

And do we have any plans for a 'Welcome back to the football league ' banner. We've done it before. A nice gesture we should continue.

Any Ideas?

Zippy expects to go, must have a blimp at the recent film release on the town to get some preparatory insights on the natives

It is quite an accurate documentary of life in Grimsby!

(Actually, it is a silly comedy. Some good lines. Not the greatest film you'll ever watch but not the worst either.)

To answer the original question, I think they'd be more likely to find it patronising, especially as there won't be that many of us there!
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

I think the difference between Barnet doing the welcome sign to us, and when we did it to Burton is that we were/are very similar clubs where reaching the football league was a massive achievement.... we had a brass band playing for our first FL game!

If we did it to Grimsby, who in my lifetime have played 2 tier football, I think they would find it patronising.

New ground for me!
