Season ticket sales

Season ticket sales

Postby Christies Child » Mon Jul 04, 2016 11:45 am

Not sure to date how many season tickets we havre sold but when I bought mine I was told that at the time they were up on last season.

Unfortunately we'll never be in a position to compete with Portsmouth in season ticket sales as I understand that they have already achieved their 10,000th sale.

How could we have achieved more sales when we had our debatably worst season in league 2 last season?

If they're up, the common sense dictates it's the freebies for children etc. Given our relatively poor last couple of seasons, the ever dwindling attendances, the doubt as to the future re the sale, etc., it's common sense that there won't have been an increase in the number of paid-season tickets sold.

The other day, I looked at the seating plan on the online-ticket system for the forthcoming friendlies and it's clear that there are fewer seats reserved for season ticket holders just from what I remember from previous years of ST seats sold on our row and infront/behind - some good friends I've known from the club for years havn't renewed this year.

I've upgraded my season ticket this season to the C(hampagne)-Prem section.... but only after two of my fellow terraced ST friends decided not to bother

I originally intended to move to Block C away from C Premier due to cost. However managed to find funds to stay in C Premier but have moved from behind home dug out to away dug out so that I can hassle the away teams management.....

That's not fair, I won't feel the benefit, would laugh if the management are moving dugouts to improve our form in 2016
