Very, very bad. Like the stuff you get on an unlicensed video game. Every year!

Hmmm. I think the away is better than last year, but that wasn't difficult! I don't like the cartoon prawn in general so I'm not fussed what colour they make it!

Home is different, I don't particulalry like the v neck collor or the thickness of it. But its ok.

Sponsors logo looks better on both kits, hopefully its a better deal for the club also.

Those white shorts look like a throw back to the earlier days of football, so ridiculously long. Otherwise I quite like the home kit ( especially with black shorts) but the away kit is superb. However the training gear is awful....

Away kit looks OK. Home one is a backwards step from the last one. Why change it if its going to look worse? Omega seem to be sponsoring everything. Thank god for their support.

What was said on the club's sale? No movement?

Any news on a new owner would be on the OWS, before even the oracle himself got a sniff!

We have heard things like this before, I hope that its true, but we seem to have a chairman that can tell us things are going to happen that don't.

If we are budgeting for 20 players that doesn't sound like a club cutting its budget in half.

Is that Kevin Peterson that's sponsored Baz ?

The budget WASN'T cut in half, nor where former players offered a derisory pay deal as has been suggested.

Both Jamie and Shaun went to a club where they could earn more money due to its bigger fan base and more productive commercial operation thanks to the loyalty of the clubs supporters who supported their club in numerous off field revenue raising schemes in greater numbers throughout Carlisle. If only the people of Morecambe showed more loyalty to its town team particularly off the field then maybe we would be in a position to hold onto our better players come the end of their contracts.

Just playing Devil's advocate, Can't remember seeing you at ANY FCoM fund raiser's last season? Stone's and Glass house's spring to mind.

To answer Outsider....True....BUT considering that I have to pay the cost of travel to every home game and support the club in other financial ways I think I do more than enough than many local 'supporters' who also don't attend FCoM activities in support of my club. I'm now about to witness my 60th year of supporting my club, 45 of those years living outside of the district. So over the years it's cost me quite a bit of money far more than many locals who only support our team in the good years....

The new kits are awful in my opinion. Will buy the kids one (the away kit). What's wrong with plain red shirts/white shorts all of a sudden? Why don't the fans have a say on kits? (A rhetorical question!)

If fans had a say you'd get 75 different opinions and most would hate the one chosen.

No Trevor
You have about 5 different kits and the fans vote the best one

Still..chances are half the fans at least wouldn't like the one that won. Point I make is its all personal choice. I like the new kits so do others while some hate them.

Nowadays the sponsors name and logo can actually have as much positive or negative effect on the kit , the mopay ones were decent(ish) shirts with an awful logo for example, the bench logo looked smart.

I like the new style logo printing for Omega Holidays.

I think the "Omega Holidays Christie Arena" for ground naming rights has a nice ring to it ;)

Sure , Omega Holidays will definitely be my first port of call when looking at the next holiday booking, hope that they can continue to grow, see some returns on their investment and get more involved with the sponsorship of the club
