Wes Fletcher on trial at Carlisle.

Turned us down for York a couple of years ago.

Worth a look is he doesn't sign for the sheep ?

scored about 1 in 4 for york, over 2 years, which isn't bad seeing they were shit at the time, highly rated as a youngster by Coyle, so he must have something to offer someone!

He did well last night in their game at Kendal.

Would do a job for us for sure.

Did Jamie and Shaun get some match time?

Yep.

Miller played first half (could tell it was pre season as he held back in some challenges!) and Devitt played second half scoring a penalty.

What would people think of giving Jon Parkin a look at?

Wouldn't come unless we paid him £2k a week. He was meant to be earning £3k at at forest green

We have former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Ryan Croasdale on trial at present.

He is actually from this area so maybe wants to come home.

Adam Lord has tweeted one of his tweets about his day at Cassius Camp !

He's been at PNE prior to joining Wednesday.

North End fans were disappointed when he was released.

We seem to have 4 trialists at the present time.

Seagie has re-tweeted photos of the 4. Ryan Croasdale and Dean Smalley are 2 of them but the other 2 yet to be identified.

I think the idea is to try and keep them ''under wraps'', apparently Jim is very annoyed about potential leaks, I have made it clear that I won't keep my mouth shut if I am told anything.

Nothing new there then......

I'm sure that other clubs will be aware who the players concerned are... :o

Good point but other clubs don't release details of their trialists ie Carlisle who had a number playing at Kendal the other night including a striker we offered terms to a couple of seasons ago..Wes Fletcher.

Deane had decent spells at Rochdale and Chesterfield, should fit in nicely

We've got 16 players signed up to date with a further 3 trialists, 2 of which we know ( Dean Smalley and Ryan Croasdale) plus 1 more as yet we don't know the name of but he was at the torture camp last Thursday and was photographed wit the others in a squad photo overlooking Lake Windermere.

Wonder if he is a winger as we are short in that area as well as a 6'+ 'hardman' midfielder to lend height and physical presence to our more creative players.... :?: :?: :?:
