Redshaw return

Redshaw return

Postby Kendalshrimp » Thu Jul 07, 2016 6:55 pm

Jack is apparently not in Gary bowyers plans for the coming in season and way down the pecking order following the arrival of jamille Matt. We're interested in taking him back on loan, we won't be the only ones interested tho I imagine...

There's a long way to go in this market yet so wouldn't expect anything to happen any time soon just know there's interest. Wages shouldn't be a problem either as id imagine Blackpool players will of had a wage cut following relegation, would everyone prefer jack over miller perfect replacement I think !

Can't believe the lack of interest in this thread, thought the forum would have been on meltdown, the possible return of player sold 12 months ago for 100k , a proven goal scorer returning on loan, or do we need a more high energy player, as opposed , some would say a lazy player

Will it happen though. Karl Oyston paid us £180,000 for him less than a year ago. Any loan fee will be out of our reach unless the take-over happens soon.

Or maybe some (like me) assumed it was about Redshaw returning to the Globe early in the season to play against us for Blackpool.

However IF he does come back on loan it has to be good news and offers some different options up front.

The sticking points are, wages, Blackpool will not loan Jack to anyone that won't pay ALL, his wages.....and, another North west club are interested in him.

Not sure jack will of been on more than £1700 last season and I'm guessing the remaining Blackpool squad from then will of took a 50% wage cut as that what usually happens when clubs get relegated. It's early days yet but as you say we definitely won't be the only ones interested !

Be great if it happens but not sure we currently have the cash to foot his wages. I'd imagine there will be a clause that he can't play against the Tangerines either but he can start his home goals against Pompy instead.

By the sounds of it, the news could be earth shattering...

Could be completely wrong but I wonder if Jack could return to us on a permanent basis because we have agreed to foresake any outstanding transfer money due..... :?: :?: :?:

Blackpool posted this picture on their twitter account of their training session in St Andrews this morning.

Redshaw is there as you can see:
