Worst Club Shop In League Two

Im shocked at this Thread especially as this is an Open Forum that anybody can read.
We are a League 2 team, what do people expect?
We have 1 of the lowest crowds in the Football league, are we really going to sell hundreds of towels or whatever? Do people realise about minium orders / spend.....

People are asking for a shop in the Town, do people realise how much staffing costs are? Rent? Rates? would someone really just walk past a shop in the town and just "pop in" and buy a kit? The club shop has free parking and "Is" Open at the advertised times, its a nice little shop, Graham is friendly and always willing to go the extra mile with service.

People on here want Peter Mcguigan himself to email them, come round to there house, put straw in there bed, flush there toilet before they will buy a ticket for a game, would these people really buy merchandise? No they would just whinge and complain thats its the wrong colour or size or to expensive.

''shocked'' , should be reserved for things like the Nice murders,
or the fact that 1400 children starve to death every hour, not that the club shop is a bit crap , every aspect of Morecambe FC's commercial side leaves a lot to be desired , hence the huge annual losses.

I'm shocked to hear that not only was there a bombing but multiple bombings in Nice, when did this happen?

We might sell more shirts every year if they weren't utter crap designed by an idiot.

high profit items like signed shirts, photo's etc, match worn stuff or ''nostalgic'' pics in frames etc, things that entice fans into the shop, would improve it, plus a wide range of sweets, pop and crisps ,a slush machine, ice creams. a resident face painter on match days, just more positive activity in the shop ,the bar etc. try and improve the ''buzz'' on matchdays!

...and maybe a bit of actual ''Morecambe'' memorabilia too, pics of the Eric statue , Chas Jacobs prints, stuff that away fans might like to take home with them.

As daft as it sounds (at our level  ) If using picture to sell of players you have to consider image rights.
FCoM thought of doing a season long calendar from Aug-May but couldn't if it was for sale. As there's no copyright on fixtures now, was hoping to include them as well. :(

I agree that it's not Graham's fault and wouldn't want people to think criticism was levelled at him. He can only sell what the Board/management have decreed. Yes, I've always found him very helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Maybe have a bit of an over 18 section (nudge nudge).
Sell knickers with a scratch and sniff shrimp on the front.
a pack of Morecons! They come in away colours for Friday nights and home for Saturdays/Sunday.
I think I should stop there!!!.
