Thought Daniel Agyai did well up front, tried to have a shot at every opportunity which was good and had decent pace. Dean Smalley showed a few nice touches out on the right, and Michael Rose and Ryan Croasdale were busy in midfield.
Alex Kenyon made a difference when he came on, and Cole Stockton once again reminded us of his ability in front of goal.
Don't know who our keeper was in the second half, but he made a great save, tipping a shot over the bar.

OG got the opening goal, Kenyon was about three yards away, but accredited to him as he was nearest!!
Winnard did well second half. Dan Nizic was in goal second half, he looked useful also.
The interesting one for me was Paul Mullin, I have always advocated he may be better played in behind the strikers to allow him to attack the back four as he has quite a good passing range, he played there last night for the 45 minutes and did just that, replicating what Wildig did first half pretty well. However it was just a pre season knock about with hardly a tackle all night!

As for Barky, one half of a friendly against non league opposition to give everyone a run out hardly sets the tone for a season guys, Molly played on the opposite wing and did pretty well too.

Agyai and Whitmore from Burnley looked promising, wonder if we are going to have some sort of link up with Burnley where we get a few youngsters to blood against proper teams instead of youth football?
Nice to see a few faces again, and Brig's set up is good, should make that a regular friendly as the pitch is good, and you can have a beer on the terraces!!

Phil Ercolano runs that Cassius Camps, he's Burnley based and went to Lancaster Grammar School. I'm putting 2 and 2 together here but it wouldn't surprise me if all these Burnley youngsters have come via him.

Lovely evening last night! Was good to see some potential signings in action, thought both the trialist strikers did well and Agyei should've scored one or two. Good little run out I guess, food was good at the ground- chips and gravy £1.80 and delicious!

Im no expert but thoughts are regarding trialists

Rose looked robust & competent and strung a couple of nice long incisive accurate passes together
Whitmore was also looking interesting good interceptions and moving ball well out of trouble for the most part

Adeyi- Akinfenwa light ?, Strong & powerful with tricky moves ,failed to finish the job on a couple of occasions , but i think he will develop really well given some game time.

The Goalie chap, apart from dribbling his way to a crisis on one occasion , he looked good and confident but suppose he wasn't tested to hard in reality. Big Baz was punching his way out of trouble (the ball) in the first half, always makes me nervous

Fair play to BB team, playing against two fresh teams of professionals in 90 minutes must have been a real physical challenge , must have been cream crackered by the end

Left BB with a bit more confidence for the coming season , than i had when i arrived and they were thoroughly nice people there

Lancaster Royal Grammar School if you please, there's only 5 schools in the country allowed to use that.

According to The Visitor Jim is looking at both as possible loans. Possible season long

it sets a tone, Jim will not be playing him as a striker as some were hoping, playing on the last shoulder of a defender, using his pace like a L2 Vardy.

Jim certainly as added more pace and can add more depending if players can prove themselves on trial.

it's just we seen glimpses of Barky's true potential last season running through on goal and finishing, and fans find it frustrating .
