Apparently the club now has serious buyer(s).

you know when you know something and you are busting to tell but cant   .
Been too much information leaked lately about trialists which could undermine any deals so lets wait for an official announcement.

Don't think this is a massive secret , and its a bit more concrete than previous rumours.

Without giving names Mr P, do you know who the potential owners are, are they national or overseas?
Thanks

After a lot of false hopes, rumours and misleading statements it now seems as if we've finally got a meaningful bid. Let's hope it is well progressed and can be concluded before the start of the season.

Don't infringe on MPH's territory! Stick to transfers and signings. You'll expand too rapidly and go bust.

Weve just gotto be lucky that anything is happening! If the rise in season ticket sales has gone up, it may be a good first season for the new owner!

I'd like to think that any buy out secures a position for Pmcg. His knowledge and expertise could be invaluable to a new owner. Possibly a Ceo.

MPH must know more by now after what I've heard today. But put it this way, jims budget has just gone from being kept in a wallet to a suitcase !

What a pity that this suitcase wasn't big enough to put Jamie and Shaun in it for another month or so and throw away the key.....

:( :( :(

;)

I've been posting for some time now that things could /would happen before the start of the season but few believed me. Just hope that this isn't another false dawn....but somehow think this IS the real deal.

Of course things COULD happen. They could also not happen.

Given you seem to be saying, you HOPED something would happen rather than it being based on any evidence, I'm not sure what there was to believe or not in anything you have posted up to this point, it being based on no hard facts.

Of course we all hope something will happen, and soon, and it will be to the benefit to the club, in the long term, and not just the short term.

Believe you based on what? Jesus Christ. What hard facts was you giving everyone for people to agree with you? Was people disagreeing with you?

So...let's look at what Mr Spudulike said..."new owners on the horizon.." Now 'horizon' might make you think of a beach, somewhere exotic perhaps, somewhere you might get to on an Omega holiday..? Or, could 'new owner' refer to something you might buy and be a proud new owner of, like a car, or a house, or something between the two, maybe a caravan from Callenders.

But a horizon is also something in the distance, far away... And what do you want to make sure you're far away from? Yep, here he is.. Oh, I'm so sorry, here's your new owner!
