Bad day out for both us and Stanley who also lost 4-1 at Staylybridge Celtic so I suppose we can take some comfort in that Halifax are potentially a more potent force than Celtic.

Ok clutching at straws but need to find some kind of solace in the result...

That same season we went on to win promotion to the Conference.

I never read into friendly results.
