Expect tonight to be another run out for the Youth team who will be there to get used their new home as their games this season are to be at Kendal I understand.

An ideal opportunity to see some potential first teamers of the future....hopefully.

Just to let folk know the M6 south could be shut after 8pm

Drainage works weather permitting.

I hoped to be going on my bike but the weather doesn't look too good at the moment :(

Kendal not too happy we haven't brought any names with us.
Meanwhile we are eating the sandwiches that they have made for MFC "suits" because nobody has turned up

Our kids seem to be getting beaten every match in pre-season. I would have preferred Jim to give his first choice 11 a run out for 45 mins tonight, if nothing else to get some goals and confidence against a weaker opposition ready for Saturday.

The Bailey brothers ran the show tonight for Kendal.

Top quality goal by Charlie.

So none of our officials put an appearance in eh.....

Thought I hadn't seen any around either.

Another good evening out up there. Trialist lad we had at number 10 did well.

Had I known it would be entirely kids, I wouldn't have bothered going.

Dull for large spells, didn't think anyone stood out. We improved once Kendal made their changes, presumably replacing some of the men with boys which made it more of a level playing field.

Aye, it was sweltering last season.

Spent last nights 90 minutes huddled under the metal shed down the side listening to the shots ring out from the adjacent Gun Club!!

Fortunately Kendal fans don't behave like Lancaster City hooligans and invade the pitch

Dont think there was enough to form an invasion , maybe a small incursion ;)
