Well we know for certain that at least one director readers SV's so lets hope he gets the message and starts communicating as often as possible.

season tickets, I would have thought in these troubled times that surely someone would have contacted us to at least ask why not...in our case genuine reasons really........but even failing these I am doubtful we would have renewed suck was the shambles of last season, pick and chose games, too many times last season I just went because I had the ticket...didn't look forward to it and many times didn't enjoy it when I got there.......entertainment value at an all time low.............and tbh it is looking a lot worse for the forthcoming season.............

To be fair I did get a letter encouraging me to renew. It actually made me think 'maybe I should/could?' If I was the one who sent it though, I would have personally given it a week then made a follow up call.

No surprise though there is a lack of communication from the club on the big issue of ownership. Like someone else said, if there has been no progress, there isn't much else to say though. PMG really has made a rod for his own back going public on a sale. I personally will be shocked if we start the season with a change of owner, but keep hoping I am proven wrong.

Whoever comes in, I hope their first goal is to how to get 1000+ extra paying punters through the gates and not how to build an office block.

But why wait until the end of the worst season we have had in the football league to announce the sale of the club knowing only too well it would interfere with the closed season dealings ?

It is no secret that several months before the announcement, there was a potential sale in the offing, there had been slow progress and the official ''for sale'' announcement was obviously aimed at forcing the potential buyers hand, several people , myself included, were tipped off that something was happening at the end of may, nothing transpired, and judging by the lack of rumours circulating at the moment it would appear nothing is imminent, I would imagine PMG is as keen as everyone else to see things progress, but we are not going to hear a thing now until something concrete is on the cards, grim, but not a lot anyone can do.

If you want to improve communication within our club, then why not attend the meeting and contribute.

Too many complain but do sod all about improving things...this is YOUR opportunity to get involved.

My reply wasn't directed at you or anybody specifically, just a general comment to those who always seem to say nothing happens or complain about the lack of communication.....unless more fans get involved little will change.

Whilst on the subject of communication, I would have hoped that as we kick off yet another season in the FL that a Board member would have been prepared to come onto SVs and discuss the club; its future; where they see the club 12 months from now and basically anything to inform the clubs paying fan base about our club. :?: :?: :?:

How will attending a meeting improve communication? What fans are looking for is information coming out of the club, without having to call a meeting to drag it out of them.

I like the way Gnasher appears from nowhere every now and again and puts words correctly in to a sentence.

Not being so close to the club any more gives you a better view of reality. Some forum users should take a step back and think before they post.

Oh, and ban the ?
