Cracking result and by the sounds of it a fantastic performance too.

Just what was needed ahead of Saturday which remains a vital game. We need a performance like that in front of the home fans to get a bit of a feel good factor back to the Globe.

Who do we fancy now? Am I right in thinking that all Premiership sides except those in Europe come in next round? Home game against a Premiership side please... like Everton???!!!!??? :D :D :D

Superb game, great commentary from Swidz & Freez. Can't wait for Saturday!

Oh me of little faith...

Excellent and goes to show that both our new strikers can score but still defensive worries. Just hope that we start with our new strikers together from now on. Kevin best as impact sub for me,

Blackpool scored four tonight so we could be in for another goal fest on Saturday.

Still going 10-10 at the moment! Mark Hughes missed for Stanley right at the start, but scored the second time around!

Probably for the best they advanced as the next round of the EFL Cup is days before we play them.

Great result...hope it continues Sat...but as for Sir Geoffrey and Clarkson being bothered...doubt it, they are from Wakefield and Donny..David Seaman on the other hand

Well, Saturday at Grimsby was one of those games when I'm ashamed to say I was there.

However, tonight was one of those epic games when I'm proud to say I WAS THERE! Fantastic entertainment and unbelievably the same team. What a difference 3 days makes! Our season starts here!

Excellent result but 4 goals against  Never mind Jim will soon fix that

Seriously though we will now see whether our manager has the mindset we want him to have. We can beat Blackpool if we have the balls to go for it.
