And now we are advising fans without a ticket not to travel which is not great when it was advertised as pay on the gate.

So Blackpool have sold their 1700ish allocation. What about those fans who were planning on turning up on the day as it was 'pay on the gate'? Strong possibility of them turning up anyway and going in the home end.

This was always going to end up being a cock up. Some angry fans about no doubt, I am sure they will know the local postcodes

Just read on facebook that they are going to move Morecambe fans to accommodate more of us?

Fact or rumour, if its the latter then it will only encourage fans to travel who may not get in which in turn could cause problems.

Well if the club was going to do that surely they would have put that information on the website instead of advising fans not to travel without a ticket, so unless there is a change in that statement then I would assume nothing has changed.

I was in the club shop at 5pm and the phone was none stop with Blackpool fans ringing for tickets. There was also some of the new training gear being put out for sale, no replica shirts yet though!

What a mess. If Blackpool can sell out 1700 by buying tickets from the club most are boycotting, going on our website or by calling up our shop then there is bound to be a significant number still planning on rocking up.

To avoid the possibility of 500+ angry fans being locked out I really hope they make the decision in the morning to let them in the North Terrace and move the 100 or so regulars on there into the Omega. Even this might not be enough.

Why not give them extra seats and charge them that little bit more?

Not really possible as this would mean giving them some of the red seats in C block (most of which will be sold to home fans) and also lead to segregation issues.

I imagine the unofficial plan is to discourage fans from travelling (hence the announcement) but when several hundred inevitably turn up, advise them to go into the North Terrace and have some soft segregation between home and away fans with some tape and a few stewards/coppers.

MFC will just be praying tonight its only a couple of hundred to deal with, and those that do will not be of the knuckle dragging variety. Should be an interesting afternoon!

Phew, shame we haven't known about this for a while, otherwise we could have planned better?

If it's pouring down tomorrow like it is now as I type I'll be glad my usual place on the North Terrace will have been given away (IF it happens..... All usual speculation)

Indeed, if you want to call Oysters a "twat" that'll be okay. You can even put it in you signature if you want. Just don't write anything that'll get anyone sued!

Would hope lots of Morecambe fans join in with any anti Oyston chanting tomorrow..peaceful of course...we football fans must stand together on issues such as this, the way this family have treated the Pool fans in recent years is disgraceful.........solidarity.....and then we beat them of course...

By the sounds of it, there will be a few in the home end who thought you could POTG today. Least that will help our numbers...
