Am I hearing right that Blackpool fans protest today is a pitch invasion at half time or was that just a one off ?

To avoid the possibility of 500+ angry fans being locked out I really hope they make the decision in the morning to let them in the North Terrace and move the 100 or so regulars on there into the Omega

Couldn't agree more, and I'm sure the club would relish the cash. However: I believe this is a category A game today. Riot vans. Police horses. The lot.

Think the club were hoping for safety/security/cost to confine them in the two stands. I'm sure they'll have to adjust today. Let's see. UTS.

they did that in that night match, think it was Preston with more numbers than expected, with one Morecambe fan refusing to move, but eventually did.

but just half of the Noth terrace they took, with Stewards stopping them going past the Toilets

Just let them have the bottom half nearest the away end, keeps the away fans happy and the regulars that stand on the North terrace too! If they are going to keep accommodating the away fans why don't they just change the home supporters sides into the away seats and terrace as 1,700 is plenty of room for home fans!

Looks like they have half the north terrace. There's s fence and a few stewards just before the men's toilets

Home end looked a bit thin around the edges, decent noise though in the second half. Not many seats left; 3.7k about right I think.

Can't imagine how you could ever get 6402 (official capacity)into the Globe ?

Doubt that is the offical capacity now. We have lost about 400 spaces through the restricted view seats in PMG and the reduced capacity of the Bay Radio Stand.

Anyone know what went on after the game on westgate ? As I was walking down I heard a group of youths chasing what looked to be local kids off the estate singing Seasiders followed by the police horses chasing them. A good 20 odd of them looked to be going for it !

There was something on the Blackpool forum about some of their lads chasing the Morecambe youth down the main street so that's probably the same incident.

There was a bit of bother in the car park outside the ground near the Hurley flyer. Police horses and cars, vans sped in from westgate. This was around 5.30. Just involved pool fans, I think.
Think oyston came out and they were upset.
