Obviously Colemans comments about his own side and the events that transpired against them yesterday are one-eyed; but why shouldn't he build his own players up by saying they are the better side and they will finish higher? I wish Jimbo would do the same instead of trying to keep a lid on things all the time. I read in the Daily Mirror yesterday whilst travelling to the game that he was surprised we have started so well... that might be the case, but what does that say to our own players? That he doesn't think they're a capable bunch?
Back to Colemans comments, the Shrimps were a shambles for the first 30 mins yesterday and we could easily have been 3-nil down. The sending off turned the game. Having watched the replay this morning it is a stonewall sending off, the covering defender is behind Stockton. With the benefit of that replay I'm sure Coley will inwardly know that its a red. His assessment about controlling the game in the second half are also wide of the mark; we could/should have scored 2/3 before they missed a couple of good chances at the death.
